lull] <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 17, 1987 <br />APPROVE <br />Mr. Vance advised that the necessary City departments and bureaus <br />have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to the <br />Board on March 10, 1987 and recommend approval. It was noted <br />that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department <br />Traffic Division have revised the route originally submitted with <br />the request. Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. <br />DeClercq and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the <br />request approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the following six (6) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Crescent at St. Louis. <br />("T" Intersection). <br />2. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Klinger at St. Joseph. <br />("T" Intersection). <br />3. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Sherwood at St. Joseph. <br />("T" Intersection). <br />4. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Emerson at North Side. <br />("T" Intersection). <br />5. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Florence at Johnson. <br />("T" Intersection). <br />6. NEW INSTALLATION, DON'T DRIVE DRUNK SIGN - 200 N. St. <br />Joseph, 160' North of Colfax, East side. (Sponsored <br />by Blue Knights, Inc.) <br />FILING _OF_ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of eighty-two (82) properties cleaned from March 9, 1987 <br />thru March 13, 1987, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. <br />DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the report as <br />submitted was filed. <br />HUMANE SOCIETY REPORT FOR MONTH OF FEBRUARY - TABLED <br />Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq, Director, Department of Code <br />Enforcement, recommended that the report submitted to the Board <br />by the Humane Society for the month of February be tabled at this <br />time. Mrs. DeClercq stated that she has been working with the <br />Humane Society regarding this matter in the hopes that a <br />reporting system could be developed which would reflect the items <br />handled and conform to the Contract entered into with the Humane <br />Society for animal control services. Therefore, upon a motion <br />made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the <br />report as submitted was tabled at this time. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Deputy City Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket <br />No. 5736 through Claim Docket No. 6004 and recommended approval. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the claims were approved and the report filed. <br />r�' <br />Ll <br />
