REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 17, 1987 APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the following seven (7) traffic control devices were approved: 1. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Frances at Corby. ("T" Intersection). 2. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Turnock at Corby. ("T" Intersection). 3. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Arthur at Corby. ("T" Intersection). 4. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Walsh at Corby. ("T" Intersection) . 5. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Clemens Dr. at Corby. ("T" Intersection). 6. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - On Clermont at Dorwood. ("T" Intersection). 7. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP TOW AWAY ZONE - 229 S. Francis. (Mr. John Benson has spondylolistesis and degenerative arthritis of the spine). APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - SECONDHAND DEALERS Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following two (2) secondhand dealers license applications have been received: NAME: B & S ENTERPRISES BY: Robert Nowaczewski ADDRESS: 2031 South Michigan Street FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Major used appliances & TV's NAME: NEAT STUFF STORE BY: Marla Dill ADDRESS: 804 West Indiana Avenue FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: New & used furniture Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire Department on the above applications. Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above referred to applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of licenses. FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Carl J. Reinke & Sons, Inc., P.O. Box 3095, South Bend, Indiana, was accepted and filed. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a total of fifty (50) properties cleaned from February 9, 1987, to February 13, 1987, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the report as submitted was filed. APPROVE CLAIMS Deputy City Controller Carol M. Sanders submitted Claim Docket No. 4275 through Claim Docket No. 4588 and recommended approval.
