DeClercq, Director, Department of Code <br />Enforcement, advised that the Department has reviewed and <br />inspected the premises of fifteen (15) companies that submitted <br />applications for scrap yard licenses for 1987. She stated that <br />fourteen (14) applicants are in compliance and she would <br />therefore recommend that a favorable recommendation be forwarded <br />to the Common Council regarding these applicants. However, South <br />Bend Auto Parts, 307 West Calvert, South Bend, Indiana, is not in <br />compliance and she would therefore recommend that the Board deny <br />this license application. <br />In response to Mr. Vance's inquiry, Mrs. DeClercq advised that <br />the application of South Bend Auto Parts, as well as inspection <br />reports, will be referred to the City Attorney's office for <br />appropriate action. <br />
