With new design, Chevrolet states trans. cooler <br />not necessary. <br />2. No power steering cooler. Not required in <br />bid specs. <br />3. Headliner is not vinyl. <br />4. Wire is 36" coiled. <br />5. Spotlite is halogen - aircraft lite not needed. <br />6. Battery is 69 Amp - 770 CCA. <br />Mr. Leszczynski stated that Kim C. Graham, General Manager, Coral <br />Dodge East, Inc., 4004 Grape Road, Mishawaka, Indiana, has <br />advised that they are unable to bid at this time due to the fact <br />that Chrysler Corporation is changing their production facilities <br />from St. Louis, Missouri to Kenosha Wisconsin and they are unable <br />to build police units until the 1988 models are introduced in the <br />Fall of 1987. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Vance and carried, the above two (2) bids were referred to the <br />Police Department and Division of Equipment Services for review <br />and recommendation. <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />This was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed <br />bids for the sale of approximately seventeen (17) abandoned <br />vehicles which have been stored at Steve and Gene's Auto & Truck <br />Salvage and Repair, 3109 South Gertrude Street, South Bend, <br />Indiana. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in <br />the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found <br />to be sufficient.
