George for the purchase of the property at <br />126 North Niles Avenue which will be utilized as the East Sector <br />Police Substation was submitted to the Board for approval. Mr. <br />Leszczynski stated that the Amendment was necessitated due to the <br />recalculation of the interest rate which changed the monthly <br />payment amount. It was noted that that amount was changed from <br />$1,401.95 to $1,404.95. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the above referred to <br />Amendment was approved and executed. <br />APPROVE AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF YOUTH SERVICES <br />Submitted to the Board for approval was an Agreement for <br />Provision of Youth Services for the period February 2, 1987 <br />through December 31, 1987, providing for the retention of Youth <br />Services Bureau, Inc., by the City, to provide certain services <br />to the City's youth and their families. Mr. Leszczynski stated <br />that this Agreement continues the current arrangement with Youth <br />Services Bureau for another year at the amount of $68,000.00. He <br />stated that this is the same amount paid in 1986. Upon a motion <br />made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the <br />Agreement as submitted was approved and executed. <br />APPROVE RAILROAD AGREEMENTS: <br />- 500 S. IRONWOOD AT GTW RR <br />- 1500 S. PRAIRIE AT CONRAIL <br />- 1400 S. OLIVE AT CONRAIL <br />- 1500 S. KEMBLE AT CONRAIL AND N&W <br />- 1600 S. TWYCKENHAM AT CONRAIL <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. R. E. Wheeler, Area Engineer, <br />Division of Local Assistance, State of Indiana, Department of <br />Highways, 100 North Senate Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana has <br />submitted the above referred to Railroad Agreements which provide <br />for the reconstruction and design and installation of active <br />warning devices at the Conrail grade crossings at 1500 South <br />Prairie, 1600 South Twyckenham, 1500 South Kemble and 1400 South <br />Olive Street as well as the design and installation of active <br />1 <br />1 <br />u <br />
