REGULAR MEETING

<br />Irrevocable Letter of Credit No. S-8702 -
<br />1. Amount: $65,426.00
<br />Instead of: $101,265.00
<br />2. Expiry date November 17, 1989 instead of November 18, 1988.
<br />3. Paragraph Two (2) should now read: "A statement purport-
<br />edly signed by an official of the City Engineer's Office
<br />certifying that, "Cross Creek, Inc. has failed to complete
<br />installation of: sidewalks; 1" asphaltic surface coat of
<br />Cross Creek Drive, Spring Hill Drive, River Cove Court,
<br />and Hunter Run Circle."
<br />All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
<br />Mr. Leszczynski also advised that the Industrial Foundation,
<br />Inc., Suite 504, 205 West Jefferson, South Bend, Indiana, has
<br />submitted Irrevocable Letter of Credit Number 565 in the amount
<br />of $7,000.00 issued by the Valley American Bank and Trust
<br />Company, P.O. Box 328, South Bend, Indiana. The Letter of Credit
<br />is given to warrant the guarantee and completion of roadway,
<br />drainage and utility improvements in the Toll Road Industrial
<br />Park extension of Ralph Jones Court.
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq
<br />and carried, the above Amended Irrevocable Letters of Credit
<br />and the Irrevocable Letter of Credit as submitted were accepted
<br />and approved.
<br />RELEASE CONTRACTORS BONDS
<br />Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the
<br />following Contractors Bonds be released as follows:
<br />Silas Boyd, d/b/a Boyd's Enterprise
<br />Effective: November 28, 1988
<br />Leon Townsend d/b/a Townsend Construction
<br />Effective: December 8, 1988
<br />Super Wash, Inc.
<br />Effective: November 19, 1988
<br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys
<br />and carried, the above Contractors Bonds were released.
<br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - PUBLIC PARKING FACILITY
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq
<br />and carried, the following application was approved and referred
<br />to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of the :License:
<br />NAME: National Autopark, Inc.
<br />LOCATION: 119 West Wayne Street
<br />BY: William R. Henke, Jr., Building Manager
<br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT
<br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a
<br />total of sixty-six (66) properties cleaned from November 1, 1988
<br />to November 10, 1988 was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs.
<br />DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the report as
<br />submitted was accepted and filed.
<br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq
<br />and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Casteel
<br />Construction Corporation, P.O. Box 628, South Bend, Indiana, was
<br />accepted and filed.
