REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 22, 1988 <br />MAJ <br />1 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the following four (4) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION, NO PARKING - Napier Street, <br />north side. (Requested by Capt. Tom Fautz). <br />2. OLIVE. <br />It was noted that the new installation of a designated <br />handicapped parking space at 2138 North Olive is in response to <br />the request submitted to the Board on July 25, 1988 by Ms. Monica <br />Bush of 2138 North Olive Street. <br />APPROVE BLOCK PARTY REQUESTS: <br />1. BELMONT STREET, FROM INTERSECTION AT SUNNYS <br />SECOND ALLEY - SEPTEMBER 4. 1988 <br />THE <br />2. 400 BLOCK OF NORTH COQUILLARD STREET - SEPTEMBER 3, 1988 <br />3. 700 BLOCK SOUTH WELLINGTON, BETWEEN FORD & DUNHAM. - SEPTEMBER <br />4, 1988 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting <br />and the Police Department Traffic Division have reviewed the <br />above referred to requests submitted to the Board on August 15, <br />1988 and recommend approval. Therefore, upon a motion made by <br />Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the <br />recommendation was accepted and the request approved. <br />APPROVE REQUEST OF P.N.. <br />Mr. Leszczyns <br />bureaus have <br />the Board on <br />upon a motion <br />and carried, <br />approved. <br />ION SOLI <br />83 CLUB AND "WHAMMA J. <br />.TIONS - SEPTEMBER 4-5, <br />M.D.A."
