0 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />ST OF WILL <br />CON <br />AUGUST 1, 1988 <br />K PENN CLUB TO CLOSE <br />ICNIC - AUGUST 6, 19i <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and <br />bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request submitted to <br />the Board on July 25, 1988 and recommend approval. Upon a motion <br />made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried the <br />recommendation was accepted and the request approved. <br />DENY REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 505 STUDEBAKER <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that on June 20, 1988, the Board received <br />a request to purchase the City owned property at 505 Studebaker. <br />A review of this request by various City departments and bureaus <br />has revealed that this property is owned by the Bureau of <br />Housing, is utilized as a Homestead property and not available <br />for sale. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the request to purchase <br />the property at 505 Studebaker was denied. <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEETS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the Title Sheet for Farmington Square, Unit 12 was <br />approved and signed. <br />Further, upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. <br />Leszczynski and carried, the Title Sheet for Demolition of <br />Buildings which are located at 1235 and 1237 W. Washington Street <br />was approved and signed. <br />Additionally, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski; seconded by <br />Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the Title Sheet for the Niles Avenue <br />Phase III Project, (Block 6 - 80' north of Cedar Street to Corby <br />Street) which entails installation of curbs, sidewalks, trees and <br />the widening of the street, was approved and signed. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Department of Code Enforcement <br />has submitted two (2) reports indicating a total of two hundred <br />twenty (220) properties cleaned from July 5, 1988 to July 25, <br />1988. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. <br />Leszczynski and carried, the reports as submitted were filed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:45 a.m. <br />F I MR <br />RO <br />I R <br />ATTEST: <br />Sandra M.
