REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 25, 1988 <br />ear <br />1 <br />1 <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the above request was approved. <br />ANNOUNCEMENT OF EXTENSION OF CIRCUS FLORA IN DOWNTOWN SOUTH BEND <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised members of the Board that due to their <br />huge success, Circus Flora will be staying for one more week in <br />the Shopper's Park.Free Lot located downtown. The Board wished <br />the circus continued success. <br />APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the <br />following bonds be approved and/or released as indicated below: <br />EXCAVATION <br />- DeWulf & Son Sewer Contractor Approved Retro. 7/19/88 <br />- C & E Excavating, Inc. Approved Eff. 7/25/88 <br />- Trans Tech Electric, Inc. Approved Eff. 7/25/88 <br />CONTRACTORS <br />- Advanced Asphalt Pavers, Inc. Released Eff. 7/25/88 <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. <br />Humphreys and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the <br />bonds were approved and/or released as indicated above. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program, submitted a list containing ninety (90) claims <br />and recommended approval. Additionally, Chief Deputy Controller <br />John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim Docket No. 10899 through <br />Claim Docket No. 11167 and Claim Docket No. 11232 through Claim <br />Docket No. 11641 and recommended approval. Upon a motion made by <br />Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the claims <br />were approved and the reports as submitted were filed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />carried, the meeting adjourned <br />ATTEST: <br />Sandra M.
