IM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 20, 1988 <br />the Ethnic Festival Parade on July 2, 1988. The Form indicates <br />that the City agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the State <br />from any liability due to the use of the street for this event. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. <br />DeClercq and carried, the form as submitted was approved and <br />executed. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CLOSE THE 600 BLOCK OF E. KEASEY STREET FROM <br />MARIETTA TO RUSH FOR NEIGHBOHROOD COMMITTEE MEETING - JUNE 26, <br />Mrs. DeClercq advised that the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and <br />the Police Department Traffic Division have reviewed the above <br />referred to request submitted to the Board on June 13, 1988, and <br />recommend approval. Mrs. DeClercq further advised that she is <br />aware of this neighorbood committee meeting as she as well as <br />other representatives from the City will be attending the meeting <br />to work with the residents with problems they have been <br />experiencing with trash and abandoned vheicles. Therefore, upon <br />a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and <br />carried, the recommendation was accepted and the request <br />approved. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CLOSE CAMPEAU STREET AT EDDY, BY THE FIRST AME <br />ZION CHURCH, FOR CHURCH CAR WASH - JUNE 25, 1988 <br />Mrs. DeClercq advised that the Board is in receipt of a request <br />from Mr. Wendell Preston, Chairman of Mens Day Committee, First <br />AME Zion Church, 801 North Eddy Street, South Bend, Indiana, <br />requesting that Campeau Street at Eddy by the church be closed on <br />June 25, 1988 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a church car <br />wash.
