REGULAR MEETING JUNE 13, 1988 <br />At this time, Mr. Popelski has advised that he accepts the <br />counteroffer of $177.50 which includes all transferring expenses <br />or other associated costs for the purchase of the property at <br />2221 Meade Street. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. <br />DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the counteroffer <br />was accepted and the matter referred to the City Attorney's <br />office for the drafting of the appropriate Purchase Agreement. <br />APPROVE ADDENDA - ABANDONED VEHICLE TOWING CONTRACT/ABANDONED <br />VEHICLE STORAGE CONTRACT <br />Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq, Director, Department of Code <br />Enforcement, advised that submitted to the Board today is an <br />Addendum to the Abandoned Vehicle Towing Contract and an Addendum <br />to the Abandoned Vehicle Storage Contract with South Bend Auto <br />Parts, 307 West Calvert Street. Mrs. DeClercq advised that the <br />Addenda address insurance requirements and raises them to the <br />limits required by the City as well as approves the use of a <br />storage lot at 216 South Grant Street for the storage of <br />abandoned vehicles as the South Bend Auto Parts single lot on <br />Calvert Street is not adequate. Therefore, upon a motion made by <br />Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the Addenda <br />as submitted were approved and executed. <br />FILING OF APPLICATIONS FOR BIDDER QUALIFICATION/CERTIFICATION <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the following applications for bidder qualification/ <br />certification were accepted for filing and referred to the <br />Affirmative Action Review Committee for review and <br />recommendation: <br />1.
