<br />ST TO CLOSE WOODWARD AVENUE

<br />Mr. Joseph Heintzelman, 1223 Woodward, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />requested permission to close Woodward Avenue, between Yukon and
<br />Hudson, from 2:00 p.m. to-8:00 p.m. on June 25, 1988 (raindate of
<br />June 26, 1988) for a neighborhood block party. Upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried,
<br />the request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting
<br />and the Police Department Traffic Division for review and
<br />recommendation.

<br />BLOCK PARTY - JULY 4, 1988 - REFERRED
<br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Sandra Hanis, 1401 East South
<br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to close off
<br />South Street from Sunnyside to the Longfellow intersection for
<br />the annual neighborhood block party from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
<br />on Monday, July 4, 1988. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski,
<br />seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the request was referred
<br />to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department
<br />Traffic Division for review and recommendation.
<br />REQUEST TO CLOSE HAWTHORNE, FROM COLFAX TO MC KINLEY FOR
<br />NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY - JULY 9, 1988 - REFERRED
<br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Judy Haas, 221 North Hawthorne
<br />Drive, South Bend, Indiana, requested that the 200 & 300 blocks
<br />of North Hawthorne Drive, between Colfax and McKinley, be closed
<br />from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 1988 for a
<br />neighborhood block party. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski,
<br />seconded by Mrs. DeClercq, and carried, the request was referred
<br />to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department
<br />Traffic Division for review and recommendation.

<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq
