Compu/Net, Inc. <br />1608 Commerce Drive <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTORS BONDS <br />Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the <br />following Contractors Bonds be approved and/or released as <br />indicated below: <br />- Clayton Hoover & Sons Released Eff. <br />- Derso Horvath Released Eff. <br />- Garden Homes by E.L., Inc. Approved Eff. <br />- William C. Severeid Approved Eff. <br />- LynKay Corporation Released Eff. <br />6/20/88 <br />6/20/88 <br />5/23/88 <br />Retroactive to <br />5/13/88 <br />5/23/88 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the recommendations as submitted were accepted and <br />the Contractors Bonds were approved and/or released as indicated <br />above. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the following five (5) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. REMOVAL OF 15 MINUTE PARKING WITH ARROW, REVISED <br />TO NO PARKING - 100 N. Olive. (Business Closed). <br />2. REMOVAL OF 2 HR. PARKING - 1200 Block Western. <br />(Business Closed). <br />3. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - Aberdeen & Somersworth. <br />(Uncontrolled "T"). <br />4. NEW INSTALLATION, STOP SIGN - Tamerlane & Somersworth. <br />(Uncontrolled "T"). <br />5. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAPPED TOW -AWAY - 1324 E. Calvert. <br />(Mrs. Louis J. Marcis). <br />It was noted that the installation of the handicap tow -away zone <br />at 1324 East Calvert Street, is in response to the request <br />submitted to the Board on May 2, 1988 by Mrs. Louis J. Marcis for <br />the designation of a handicapped parking space at her residence. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of fifty-one (51) properties cleaned was submitted. Upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and <br />carried, the report as submitted was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy City Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim <br />Docket No. 8021 through 8237 and 8240 through 8549 and <br />recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, <br />seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the claims were approved <br />and the report filed. <br />
