She therefore made a motion that the license <br />application submitted by Superior Waste Systems, Inc., 20645 W. <br />Ireland Road, South Bend, Indiana, be approved but that the <br />remaining six (6) license applications submitted be held until <br />the next regular meeting of the Board in order to give the <br />Department of Code Enforcement an opportunity to review the <br />applications and determine that no problems exist. Mr. <br />Leszczynski seconded the motion and it carried. <br />It was noted that inspections of the trucks to be used by <br />Superior Waste Systems, Inc. had been conducted by the Solid <br />Waste Bureau and all were found to be in compliance. <br />APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, recommended that the <br />following Contractors and Excavation Bonds be approved and/or <br />released: <br />CONTRACTORS <br />Portage Construction Co. <br />Alfred C. Released Eff. 5/23/88 <br />Approved Eff. 2/1/88 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the bonds as indicated above were approved and/or <br />released as recommended. <br />FILING OF APPLICATIONS FOR BIDDER QUALIFICATION/CERTIFICATION <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of <br />Applications for Bidder Qualification from the following: <br />1.
