Therefore, upon a motion made by
Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the
Agreement as submitted was approved and executed.
APPROVE DEED OF DEDICATION - DRAINAGE/SEWER EASEMENT (AIRPORT
INDUSTRIAL PARK PHASE IV)
Mr. David B. Behr, The Holladay Corporation, One Michiana Square,
100 East Wayne Street, Suite 405, South Bend, Indiana, advised
that The Holladay Corporation has entered into an agreement with
the Industrial Foundation to extend sanitary sewers to the east
of Kenmore Street. The Industrial Foundation has agreed to
dedicate a 20' wide easement from Kenmore Street east to a
fifteen (15) acre parcel that The Holladay Corporation is
developing on Bendix Drive known as Bendix Park. Mr. Behr was
present and advised that during 1988 The Holladay Corporation
plans to construct the sanitary sewer from Kenmore Street to
Bendix Drive through these easements according to City
standards. He therefore submitted to the Board a Deed of
Dedication and Owner's Certification for this 20' wide easement
for the purposes as stated above and requested that the Board
accept the Dedication. Mr. Leszczynski clarified that the cost
of the construction of the sanitary sewer will be borne by the
developer. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs.
DeClercq and carried, the Deed of Dedication as submitted was
approved.
APPROVE PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT AND FILING OF MAINTENANCE
BOND - PEACE MANOR SANITARY SEWER
Mr. Michael P. Mr.
Leszczynski advised that the sewer is now being turned over to
the City for maintenance. He further stated that the Engineering
Department has reviewed the project and recommends that it be
accepted. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq,
seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the Project Completion
Affidavit was approved and the Maintenance Bond as submitted was
filed.
ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 1-1988 - DISPOSAL OF OBSOLETE
EQUIPMENT (DEPUTY CONTROLLER'S OFFICE)
Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. John Leinsenring, Chief Deputy
Controller, advised that the Deputy Controller's office is in
possession of seven (7) adding machines that are no longer needed
by the Department and are obsolete and beyond repair.
