�24 <br />REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 23, 1989 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. REMOVAL: Handicap Tow Zone <br />LOCATION: 515 South Jackson <br />REMARKS: Resident deceased <br />2. REMOVAL: 2 Hour Parking <br />6 a.m. - 6 p.m. <br />LOCATION: 1802 South Main Street <br />REMARKS: Request of new business owner <br />Mr. Don Foster <br />APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Michael P. Meeks, Director, Division of Engineering, <br />recommended that the following Contractors and Excavation Bonds <br />be approved and/or released as follows: <br />CONTRACTORS BOND <br />- Richard E. Slagle <br />d/b/a Majority Builders, Inc. <br />EXCAVATION BONDS <br />- Hamstra Builders, Inc. <br />- John E. Dieringer, <br />d/b/a Utility Piping Services <br />Released Eff. 10/18/89 <br />Released Eff. 10/18/89 <br />Approved Eff. 10/17/89 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the recommendation was accepted and the above <br />referred to bonds were approved and/or released as indicated <br />above. <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEETS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Title Sheets for the following <br />projects were being presented at this time for execution: <br />1. Hickory Park - Sanitary Sewer <br />2. Mayflower Section 5 - Water/Street (Summit Drive & <br />Hazelwood Court) <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the above referred to Title Sheets were approved and <br />signed. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of one hundred ten (110) properties cleaned from <br />October 2, 1989 to October 12, 1989 was submitted. Upon a motion <br />made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the <br />report as submitted was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy City Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim <br />Docket No. 15472 through Claim Docket No. 15815 and recommended <br />approval. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. <br />Humphreys and carried, the claims were approved and the report <br />filed. <br />I - <br />
