ME <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 28, 1989 <br />to include this property and the City -owned property located on <br />the N.E. corner of Chapin and Western before any development <br />occurs on either property. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the <br />recommendation be accepted and the request be denied. Ms. <br />Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE REQUEST OF MARANATHA TEMPLE TO CONDUCT MARCH - SEPTEMBER <br />9, 1989 <br />The above referred to request, submitted to the Board on June 26, <br />1989, has been reviewed by the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />Police Department Traffic Division and the City Attorney's office <br />and approval is recommended at this time. Therefore, Mrs. <br />DeClercq made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and <br />the request be approved. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE REQUEST OF UNITED STATES ARMY RESERVE CENTER TO CLOSE <br />STREETS IN CONJUNCTION WITH REDEDICATION CEREMONY - SEPTEMBER 10 <br />1989 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and <br />bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request which was <br />submitted to the Board on August 7, 1989 to close Boland Street, <br />from Bendix to Kenmore and Kenmore Street from Boland to <br />Cleveland on September 10, 1989, in conjunction with the United <br />States Army Reserve Center rededication ceremony that will take <br />place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and approval is recommended. <br />Mrs. DeClercq therefore made a motion that the request be <br />approved. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. <br />ST OF AGAPE MIS <br />IN <br />SE BRY. <br />SEPTEMBER 17, 1989 <br />As the appropriate City departments and bureaus have reviewed the <br />above referred to request which was submitted to the Board on <br />August 14, 1989 and approval is recommended, Mrs. DeClercq made a <br />motion that the request be approved. Ms. Humphreys seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />APPROVE REQUEST OF A.B.A.T.E. OF INDIANA FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />ASSISTANCE IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANNUAL MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR <br />MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY - SEPTEMBER 3,1 1989 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and <br />bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request which was <br />submitted to the Board on August 14, 1989 for traffic control <br />assistance through various intersections as indicated on the <br />route which they submitted with their request, and approval is <br />recommended at this time. <br />It was noted the Civil Defense Police and Civil Defense <br />WeatherWatch Units will be utilized for this event and that the <br />City Attorney's office has prepared the appropriate <br />Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement. Therefore, Mrs. <br />DeClercq made a motion that the request be approved. Ms. <br />Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE BLOCK PARTY REQUESTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski noted that the appropriate City departments and <br />bureaus have reviewed the following block party requests which <br />have been submitted to the Board and approval is recommended. <br />Therefore, Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the recommendation be <br />accepted and the requests be approved.
