Mr. Stiltz noted that the permit is needed <br />to allow Lawn Environmental, Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky to <br />provide environmental assessment of a former Shell service <br />station located at 2404 Western Avenue. Mr. Stiltz also advised <br />that the Lawn Environmental will perform a pump test on an <br />existing ground -water monitoring well to determine the <br />ground -water aquifer characteristics. He further advised that <br />Shell Oil Company will install an oil/water separator to treat <br />the groundwater prior to discharge. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, Wastewater <br />Discharge Permit #SB027 for the Shell Oil Company, 2404 W. <br />Western Avenue, South Bend, Indiana was approved, effective <br />August 14, 1987 through August 14, 1994. <br />
