W*11 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 17, 1989 <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION: Stop Sign <br />LOCATION: Indiana and Virginia <br />REMARKS: "T" Intersection <br />2. REMOVAL: Handicap space <br />LOCATION: 1235 Goodland <br />REMARKS: Requested by Mr. Edward E. Williams <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Paul Davis Systems of South Bend, <br />Inc., have submitted a Contractor's Bond and it is his <br />recommendation that the bond be approved effective July 17, <br />1989. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded <br />by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the bond was approved. <br />APPROVE SIDEWALK SALE PERMIT APPLICATIONS <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the following Sidewalk Sale Permit applications, <br />which included the appropriate signed Indemnification Agreements, <br />were approved: <br />NAME: THE CLOTHES TREE <br />BY: Kay Marshall <br />LOCATION: 2212 Miami Street <br />DATES: August 3-5, 1989 <br />NAME: BRANT'S BEN FRANKLIN <br />BY: Ernest Brant <br />LOCATION: 2114 Miami Street <br />DATES: August 3-5, 1989 <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, a Certificate of Insurance for the following was <br />accepted and filed: <br />1. Ziolkowski Construction, Inc. <br />1005 South Lafayette Blvd. <br />P.O. Box 1106 <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of ninety (90) properties cleaned from July 5, 1989 to July <br />7, 1989, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, <br />seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the report as submitted <br />was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy City Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim <br />Docket No. 11262 through Claim Docket No. 11645 and recommended <br />approval. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. <br />Leszczynski and carried, the claims were approved and the report <br />filed. <br />11 <br />
