195 REGULAR MEETING JULY 10, 1989 NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend: SECTION 1. That it is in the best interests of the City of South Bend and of the area proposed to be annexed that the real estate located in Centre Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, described in the Attachment "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, be annexed to the City of South Bend. SECTION 2. It is now hereby declared and established that it is the policy of the City of South Bend to furnish to said territory municipal services within one (1) year and proprietary services within three (3) years, all of which shall be substantially equivalent in standard and scope to the services furnished by the City to other areas of the City which have characteristics of topography, patterns of land utilization and population density similar to said territory; and that such services shall include street maintenance, street lighting, sanitation service, water service and sewer service. Section 3. The Board of Public Works now establishes and adopts the fiscal plan attached hereto as Attachment "B" for the furnishing of said services. Parmerlee Clerk ATTACHMENT "A" LEGAL DESCRIPTION That part of the Northeast quarter of Section 30, T. 37 N., R. 3 E., Centre Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana which is described as: Beginning at a Point on the East and West quarter line of said Section which is West (assumed bearing), 1052.30 ft. from the East quarter Post of said Section; thence West along said line and the Centerline of Ireland Road, 273.10 ft. to the Southwest Corner of the East half of the Northeast quarter of said Section; thence N. 00000147" E. along the West line of the East half of the Northeast quarter of said Section, 655.06 ft. (657.25 ft., record) to an existing Iron Pipe; thence East parallel with the East and West quarter line of said Section, 273.10 ft.; thence S. 00*00147" W., 655.06 ft. (657.25 ft., Record) to the Point of Beginning. Subject to the legal rights of a public highway and any easements, covenants or restrictions of record.
