REGULAR MEETING JUNE 26, 1989 <br />191 <br />1 <br />1 <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Juan A. Manigault, Executive Director, SJC Job Training <br />Program, submitted a list containing one hundred forty-nine (149) <br />claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Chief Deputy <br />Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim Docket Nos. 10101 <br />through 10294 and 10501 through 10799 and recommended approval. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the claims were approved and the reports as <br />submitted were filed. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />QUESTIONS REGARDING LEAF REMOVAL EQUIPMENT <br />In response to questions from the news media, Mr. Leszczynski <br />advised that specifications for leaf removal machines are being <br />prepared at this time and it is anticipated that the request to <br />advertise for bids for this equipment will be submitted to the <br />Board within the next two (2) weeks. Mr. Leszczynski also stated <br />that the City has ordered the materials needed to construct the <br />boxes that will be utilized in the leaf collection program. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:59 a.m. <br />ATT T: <br />Sandra M.
