110 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 17, 1989 <br />MDA, 103 West Wayne Street, Suite 312, South Bend, Indiana, <br />advised that the National Association of Letter Carriers, South <br />Bend Branch #330, request permission to hold their annual <br />Muscular Dystrophy Association Solicitation on Sunday, July 9, <br />1989, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the following <br />intersections: <br />1. Ireland and Miami 3. Twyckenham and Lincolnway East <br />2. Edison and Ironwood 4. Lombardy and Western <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the request was referred to the appropriate City <br />departments and bureaus for review and recommendation <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of twenty-three (23) properties cleaned from April 3, 1989 <br />through April 7, 1989, was submitted. Upon a motion made by <br />Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the <br />report as submitted was filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for William A. Geyer & <br />David L. Geyer, d/b/a Geyer Construction & Development, 67475 <br />Kenilworth Road, Lakeville, Indiana, was accepted for filing as <br />submitted. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR'S BOND <br />Mr. Michael P. Meeks, Director, Division of Engineering, <br />recommended that the Contractors Bond for Charles J. Randolph be <br />approved effective April 17, 1989. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the <br />recommendation was accepted and the bond approved. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program, submitted a list containing sixty-four (64) <br />claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Chief Deputy <br />Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim Docket Nos. 6846 <br />7019 and 7072 through 7346 and recommended approval. Upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and <br />carried, the claims were approved and the reports as submitted <br />were filed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:24 a.m. <br />?
