At this time, it is the <br />recommendation of the City Attorney's office that the proper <br />method for disposal of the equipment is through a public <br />auction. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion to approve the <br />recommendation to set for auction the sale of the equipment. <br />Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion and it carried. <br />APPROVE REi <br />T OF SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE TO CONDUCT SUNBURST <br />MARATHON AND 10_K ROAD RACE - JUNE 10, 1989 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments <br />and bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request which <br />was submitted to the Board on February 13, 1989, and approval is <br />recommended at this time. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. <br />DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the <br />recommendation was accepted and the request approved. <br />REQUEST OF NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LETTER CARRIERS TO CONDUCT <br />INTERSECTION SOLICITATIONS FOR MDA - JULY 9, 1989 - REFERRED <br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Karen S.
