REGULAR MEETING APRIL 3, 1989 <br />Board Attorney Marva Leonard -Dent advised that the bid submitted <br />by Haskins, Inc., 2520 Oak Road, Plymouth, Indiana was not <br />properly notarized in that it lacked the notary seal. Therefore, <br />upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the bid of Haskins, Inc., was rejected. <br />Additionally, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by <br />Ms. Humphreys and carried, the bids were referred to the Bureau <br />of Sanitation for review and recommendation and the applications <br />for bidder qualification as submitted with the bids were accepted <br />for filing and referred to the Affirmative Action Review <br />Committee for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - STREET MATERIALS FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />STREET DEPARTMENT FOR 1989 AND FILING OF APPLICATIONS FOR BIDDER <br />QUALIFICATION <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for receiving <br />and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to materials. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South <br />Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be <br />sufficient.
