394 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 10, 1990 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:32 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 1990, by Board President John <br />E. Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski, Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq <br />and Ms. Katherine Humphreys present. Also present was Chief <br />Assistant City Attorney Jenny Pitts Manier. <br />AGENDA ITEMS ADDED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the following items were added to the agenda: <br />1. Proposal for Elevator Maintenance <br />2. Traffic control devices <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the minutes of the December 3, 1990, regular meeting <br />of the Board were approved. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - STORAGE RACKS AND SHELVING LOCATED IN THE <br />NATIONAL MILL SUPPLY BUILDING - 1045 W. SAMPLE STREET <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for receiving <br />and opening of sealed bids for the sale of the following <br />equipment which is located in the National Mill Supply Building <br />at 1045 West Sample Street: <br />WEST SECTION (LOWER): <br />Twenty (20) rows of shelving (116" deep, 24' in length, <br />8' in height.) Included are twenty-four (24) 8' light <br />fixtures, and 1,353 shelves. <br />WEST SECTION (UPPER): <br />Ten (10) rows of shelving (116" deep, 24' in length, 8' <br />in height and ten (10) rows of additional shelving with <br />measurements of 116" deep, 21' in length, 8' in height. <br />Total of 1,108 shelves. <br />Upper section includes a 71x60' walkway, ten (10) rows of <br />walkways (31x241) and two (2) 7' gates. There are no stairs <br />included with these shelves. <br />Also, a cast iron steel, heavy duty storage rack <br />approximately 50' in length, 10' in height that needs to be <br />removed with the shelving. <br />The following sealed bids were received, opened and read: <br />TRANS TECH ELECTRIC INC. <br />P.O.
