380 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 19, 1990 <br />Also, a cast iron steel, heavy duty storage _rack <br />approximately 50' in length, 10' in height that needs <br />to be removed with the she ping. <br />Mr. St. Clair advised that the shelving racks are in excellent <br />condition and sight visits by bidders can be arranged. He noted <br />that bidders will be responsible for disassembly and removal of <br />the property within thirty (30) days of bid awards. <br />Therefore, Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the above referred to <br />shelving and storage racks be offered for sale. Mrs. DeClercq <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CLOSE 700 BLOCK OF WAYNE STREET, BET-1EEN SOUTH <br />ST. PETER AND SOUTH ST. LOUIS, TO PLACE HOUSE IN STREET ON <br />11-26-90 IN ORDER TO PROCEED WITH MOVE ON 11-27-90 <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Todd Zeiger, 235 South St. Peter <br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to close the <br />700 block of Wayne Street, between South St. Peter and South St. <br />Louis, on November 26, 1990 in order to prepare for the <br />relocation of a structure from 235 South St. Peter to 508 East <br />South Street. The structure will need to be pulled in to the <br />street overnight so as to allow the mover to proceed first thing <br />in the morning on November 27, 1990. It is estimated that the <br />move will take approximately eight (8) hours to move from 235 <br />South St. Peter to 508 East South Street. This time does not <br />include pulling the structure out into the street. It is for <br />this reason that Mr. Zeiger is requesting the closing of the <br />street. Mr. Zeiger noted that in the interest of public safety, <br />cones, barricades and flashing lanterns will be placed around the <br />structure when it sits in the street. In addition, there will be <br />security provided during the night. <br />It is noted that on October 22, 1990, the Board of Public Works <br />approved a request to move the above referred to house. <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the necessary City departments and <br />bureaus have reviewed this request and approval is recommended. <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the request be <br />approved. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the following one (1) traffic control device was <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION: STOP SIGN <br />LOCATION: Dub:til and Marine - N.E. corner <br />RF. 3ARKS : "T" intersection <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Two (2) _reports from the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating a total of eight (8) City/Miscellaneous properties <br />cleaned from November 8, 1990 to November 10, 1990 and thirty-two <br />(32) other properties gleaned from November 8, 1990 to November <br />9, 1990, were submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, <br />seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the reports as submitted <br />were filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, Certificates of Insurance for the following were <br />accepted for filing: <br />11 <br />n <br />
