367 REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 5, 1990 The second additional Easement would permit the installation of telephone wire over the north -south alley south of Navarre Street and north of Marion Street. The Easement area is illustrated on Map III and described at Attachment III submitted with the request. This Easement would permit offices within the Memorial Professional Building access to Memorial's telephone system. As with the previous Easements requested, Memorial Hospital desires to avoid burying telephone wire underground at this time in view of the continuing development of its campus. Parcels near the Memorial Professional Building remain candidates for eventual acquisition and development even though no construction project for this area is planned at this time. Finally, Mr. Ellison advised that two (2) Easements are needed to correct an oversight. When Memorial installed its existing telephone system in 1984, telephone wire was placed over the north -south alley east of Lafayette Street and south of Bartlett Street. Map IV, submitted with the request, illustrates wire location. Because of an oversight, Memorial did not request Temporary Easements for these telephone wires that connect Memorial's Corporate Communications (Marketing) and Pathway's Outpatient facilities to the hospital's telephone system. Consequently, Attachments IV and V describe the needed Easements. Memorial requests these Easements until December 31, 1993 in view of potential additional development in the area in the future. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above outlined request was referred to the appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and recommendation. APPROVE CLAIMS Chief Deputy Controller John D. Leisenring submitted Claim Docket No. 16189 through Claim Docket No. 16430 and recommended approval. Additionally, Voucher Nos. 872-909 for the Bureau of Wastewater, Voucher Nos. 728-763 for the Bureau of Sewers and Voucher No. 51 for the Bureau of Solid Waste were submitted for approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the claims and vouchers were approved and the reports as submitted were filed.
