REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 22. 1990 <br />341 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1'j <br />(b) <br />Per <br />vehicle, <br />on a three-year contract <br />$43.00 <br />per mo. <br />(c) <br />Per <br />vehicle, <br />on a five-year contract <br />$48.00 <br />per mo. <br />(d) Group rates on a monthly contract <br />5 - 49 vehicles $35.00 per mo. <br />50 or more vehicles $32.00 per mo. <br />(e) Priority for committing parking spaces within a City <br />operated parking garage shall be given to vehicles with the <br />longest term parking contract and the highest monthly rental <br />rate. Commitment of spaces within a parking garage within a <br />particular rate structure shall be determined based upon (1) the <br />number of parking spaces committed per single billing; (2) the <br />length of time the person has committed spaces within that <br />garage; and (3) the payment experience of the account. <br />Persons entering into long term agreements for parking may be <br />granted an option to renew within the discretion of the Board of <br />Public Works or its designee. <br />SECTION III. The following hourly rates shall be charged for <br />individual vehicles parked at City operated parking garages: <br />Hours <br />Rate <br />0 to 1 hour <br />$ <br />1.00 <br />2 hours <br />$ <br />1.50 <br />3 hours <br />$ <br />2.00 <br />4 hours <br />$ <br />2.50 <br />5 to 8 hours <br />$ <br />3.00 <br />9 to 24 hours <br />$ <br />5.00 <br />Special event <br />$ <br />1.00 <br />SECTION IV. This Resolution rescinds and supersedes all prior <br />resolutions setting rates for municipal parking facilities. <br />SECTION V. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />APPROVE AGREEMENT FOR STAFF SUPPORT - THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLVING <br />rUNU Ur' 50UTH bENU, 1NUTANA/CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that submitted to the Board for approval <br />was a renewal Agreement for Staff Support between the Trust known <br />as The Industrial Revolving Fund of South Bend, Indiana, and the <br />City of South Bend, by and through its Board of Public Works on <br />behalf of its Economic Development Department, effective January <br />1, 1990. The Agreement indicates that the City will provide <br />staff support to the Trust as outlined in the terms and <br />conditions and shall be compensated the sum of $12,000.00. <br />Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the Agreement be approved and <br />executed. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. <br />
