REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 22, 1990 AMERICAN LAFRANCE 600 Mountain Lane Bluefield, VA 24605 Bid was signed by Mr. Tom Nist, VP Sales and Service, Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination Commitment form was completed and a ten per cent (100) Bid Bond was submitted. BID: Two (2) Pacemaker 1500 G.P.M. fire pumpers: Each: $224,000.00 Total: $448,000.00 The trucks will be built at the American LaFrance factory in Bluefield, VA and shipped in about three hundred (300) calendar days after award and execution of contract subject to delays beyond their control. Delivery will be overland via their delivery engineer. Terms, conditions and warranties, attached to the bid, are part of the proposal. This quotation valid for thirty (30) days and may be extended at LaFrance's option. Terms of payment: Cash on delivery or four (4) year lease -purchase based on items contained in bid. (AGENT) 1605 Prospect Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46203 and 50956 Lincolnshire Trail Granger, Indiana 46530 Bid was submitted by Mr. Tom Fredrick, Authorized Sales Representative for Pierce Manufacturing, Inc., Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination Commitment form completed and a ten per cent (100) Bid Bond was submitted. BID: Two (2) sets Pierce Class "A" Triple Combination Custom Fire Apparatus mounted on a Pierce Custom 4-Door Arrow Chassis as per detailed proposal: Cash Price Each: $198,975.00 Total: $397,950.00 If customer will pay for chassis ($99,214.00) ninety (90) days prior to the scheduled completion date of the apparatus, the City may deduct from the chassis: Each: $ 3,816.00 Total: $ 7,632.00 Above pricing is predicated on the purchase of two (2) units. Delivery: Delivery of above will be approximately 300-350 calendar days after acceptance of contract by Pierce. The amount named in this bid is made with the understanding that same shall be accepted by the City within thirty (30) days from date of same. Should the City's acceptance be delayed beyond said period, an extension may be granted upon request, if possible. Lease Program: 20o down payment due on delivery - $79,590.00.
