REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 8. 1990 <br />329 <br />1 <br />Green is desirous of having the property available for parking of <br />his patrons and the City is desirous of assisting Mr. Green with <br />his parking needs but is equally desirous of avoiding the <br />nuisance and problem created by trespassing vehicles and/or <br />persons, loitering and other unauthorized activities and <br />conditions existing at the property. Therefore, the Agreement <br />outlines the conditions which must be met for use of the <br />City -owned lot by Mr. Green. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that <br />the Agreement as submitted be approved and executed. Ms. <br />Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEET - TRANSWESTERN BUILDING - ASBESTOS ABATEMENT <br />AND DEMOLITION <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above <br />referred to project was being presented at this time for <br />execution. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. <br />Humphreys and carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was <br />approved and signed. <br />APPROVE EXCAVATION BOND <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Engineering Department has <br />recommended that the Excavation Bond for Culligan Fireprotection, <br />Inc., be approved effective October 2, 1990. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the <br />recommendation was accepted and the bond approved. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Two (2) reports from the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating a total of thirty-one (31) City -owned and <br />miscellaneous properties cleaned from September 24, 1990 to <br />September 28, 1990, and eighty (80) other properties cleaned from <br />September 24, 1990 to September 28, 1990, were submitted. Upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and <br />carried, the reports as submitted were filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy Controller John D. Leisenring submitted Claim Docket <br />No. 14864 through Claim Docket No. 14946 and recommended <br />approval. Additionally, Voucher Nos. 799-829 for the Bureau of <br />Wastewater, Voucher Nos. 650-691 for the Bureau of Sewers and <br />Voucher No. 46 for the Bureau of Sanitation were submitted for <br />approval. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. <br />Humphreys and carried, the claims and vouchers were approved and <br />the reports as submitted were filed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m. <br />AT ST: <br />Sandra M.
