Eff. 9-13-90 <br />53376 Wallace Lane <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Jessie Stacy <br />3602 Mishawaka Avenue <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Eff. 9-11-90 <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Two (2) reports from the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating a total of forty (40) City -owned and miscellaneous <br />properties cleaned from September 4, 1990 to September 7, 1990, <br />and thirty (30) other properties cleaned from September 4, 1990 <br />to September 7, 1990, were submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. <br />DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the reports as <br />submitted were filed. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - AUGUST <br />Mrs. DeClercq advised that the Board is in receipt of the monthly <br />report for the month of August as submitted by the Humane Society <br />of St. Joseph County, IN, Inc. Mrs. DeClercq noted that the <br />report indicates the number and types of animals handled for the <br />City of South Bend. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the report <br />as submitted be accepted for filing. Ms. Humphreys seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, Employment & Training <br />Services of St. Joseph County, submitted a list containing eighty <br />(80) claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Chief Deputy <br />Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim Docket No. 13619 <br />through 13839 and No. 13892 through 14169 and recommended <br />approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. <br />DeClercq and carried, the claims were approved and the reports as <br />submitted were filed. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR: <br />POLITICAL SIGNS IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq, Director, Department of Code <br />Enforcement, again sent a message to the general public <br />requesting that political or other type of signs not be placed in <br />the public right-of-way or treelawn areas but should be placed on <br />private property. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:10 a.m. <br />ATT T: <br />Sandra M.
