17 REGULAR MEETING APRIL 2. 1990 Mr. Stevens noted that the street would need to be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on those dates. He also noted that the request is to accommodate the great amount of pedestrian traffic which takes place between the course and the headquarters building during events. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the request be referred to the appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and recommendation. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE TITLE SHEET - PORTAGE REALTY'S GEORGETOWN NORTH (SEWER/WATER) Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above referred to project was being presented at this time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the Title Sheet was approved and signed. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a total of forty-four (44) properties cleaned from March 19, 1990 to March 23, 1990, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the report as submitted was filed. APPROVE CONTRACTORS BONDS Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Engineering Department has recommended that the following Contractor's Bonds be approved: Ronnie G. Perry Effective 4/2/90 Tommie K. Davis d/b/a Tom Davis Concrete Effective 4/1/90 Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bonds be approved. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, and carried, Certificates of Insurance accepted and filed: 1. Carl J. Reinke & Sons, Inc. P.O. Box 3095 South Bend, Indiana 46619 2. Delta Star Electric, Inc. 1125 South Walnut Street South Bend, Indiana seconded by Mrs. DeClercq for the following were APPROVE CLAIMS Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, Employment and Training Services, submitted a list containing ninety-nine (99) claims and recommended approval. Additionally, Chief Deputy Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim Docket No. 6583 through Claim Docket No. 6882 and recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the claims were approved and the reports as submitted were filed. QUESTIONS REGARDING THE STUDEBAKER CORRIDOR PROJECT/BOND ISSUE In response to questions from the news media, Ms. Humphreys outlined a rough schedule of events in regards to this matter. She noted that bonds will be sold and closing will take place in late April or early May and that the Board of Public Works will be the Board taking bids for this project.
