.15 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 2, 1990 <br />WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-1-11-6(b) permits and establishes <br />procedure for disposal of personal property which is unfit for <br />the purpose for which it was intended and which is no longer <br />needed by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works <br />of the City of South Bend that the equipment listed above is no <br />longer <br />needed by the City; is unfit for the purpose for which it was <br />intended; and has an estimated total value of One Thousand <br />Dollars ($1,000.00) or more. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said equipment shall be disposed <br />of by receipt of sealed bids, and that the Board shall publish <br />notice of its intent to so so dispose of said property. <br />ADOPTED this 2nd day of April, 1990. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/John E. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - ROLL BOX <br />SERVICES <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Robert Kruszynski, Manager, <br />Department of Sanitation, requested that the Board advertise for <br />the receipt of bids on a service contract to provide roll box <br />services for white goods for the Department of Sanitation. He <br />noted that these boxes will be placed in various locations <br />throughout the City for their convenience. He further noted that <br />the contract will be in effect for one (1) year. Mr. Leszczynski <br />made a motion that the request be approved. He therefore requested that the Board <br />the receipt of Proposals for past due ambulance <br />the year 1990. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the <br />proved. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which <br />REQUEST OF CITY AWNING TO ERECT CANOPY AT 230 SOUTH MICHIGAN - <br />COLGLAZIER ELEPHANT EARS (REFERRED) <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Curtis Blakely, Sales <br />Representative, City Awning of South Bend, 1835 South Franklin <br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to install a <br />canopy on the front of the building over the plate glass window <br />facing Michigan street at Colglazier Elephant Ears, 230 South <br />Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana. Mr. Blakely submitted with <br />his request a sketch of the canopy to be erected. Mr. <br />Leszczynski made a motion that the request be referred to the <br />appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and <br />recommendation.
