104 <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 19, 1990 <br />submitted to the Board on March 5, 1990 and approval is <br />recommended. Therefore, Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the <br />recommendation be accepted and the request be approved. Ms. <br />Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL <br />Mrs. DeClercq advised that the following three (3) Rubbish and <br />Garbage Removal license applications have been received: <br />John H. McClain, Sr. <br />110 South Iowa <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Grayson R. Warren, Jr. <br />220 Seebirt Place <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Elson Shelton <br />922 North Olive Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />It was noted that inspections of the trucks to be used have been <br />conducted by the Solid Waste Bureau and all applicants were found <br />to be in compliance. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, <br />seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above license <br />applications were approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's office for issuance of licenses. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of seventy-eight (78) properties cleaned from March 5, 1990 <br />to March 9, 1990, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. <br />DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the report as <br />submitted was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, St. Joseph County Job <br />Training Program submitted a list containing one hundred <br />eighty-eight (188) claims and recommended approval. <br />Additionally, Chief Deputy Controller John D. Leisenring <br />submitted Claim Docket No. 5896 through Claim Docket No. 6156 and <br />recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, <br />seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the claims were approved <br />and the reports as submitted were filed. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a <br />motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and <br />carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:56 a.m. <br />.
