265 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 19, 1991 <br />OPENING OF STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATION - CONTROL, INFORMATION <br />AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FACILITY PLAN - WASTEWATER TREATMENT <br />PLANT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the <br />receiving and opening of sealed Statements of Qualification for a <br />Control, Information and Communication System Facility Plan for <br />the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The following professional <br />engineering companies submitted Statements of Qualification: <br />1. Girman <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the Statements of Qualification were referred to the <br />Division of Environmental Services for review and recommendation. <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - VACAT.ION OF A <br />PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF NORTHSIDE BOULEVARD RUNNING FROM <br />THE EAST LINE OF LOUISE STREET TO THE WEST LINE OF ROBERTS STREET <br />FOR A DISTANCE OF 154 FEET <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the <br />Board's Public Hearing on the proposed vacation of the following <br />right-of-way: <br />A portion of the right-of-way of Northside Boulevard <br />running from the East line of Louise Street to the <br />West line of Roberts Street for a distance of 154 feet. <br />It was noted that this Public Hearing is being held in order for <br />the Board to submit a recommendation to the Common Council <br />concerning the Vacation Petition filed by Mr. Roger Nawrot, Cole <br />Associates, Inc., 2211 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, <br />Indiana, on behalf of the Petitioner, Mr. Frank Mulligan, General <br />Manager, South Bend Controls, 1237 Northside Boulevard, South <br />Bend, Indiana. <br />It was further noted that pursuant to South Bend Municipal Code <br />Section 18-53-8, owners whose property abut the proposed street <br />to be vacated as well as property owners within one hundred fifty <br />(150) feet of the public right-of-way to be vacated, were <br />notified of the Board's Public Hearing date. <br />
