REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 22, 1991 <br />LOCATION: <br />Washington - Falcon to Kenmore - <br />South side of the street only. <br />4. NEW INSTALLATION: No Parking <br />LOCATION: Falcon - Linden to Jefferson - <br />Both sides of street. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Engineering Department has <br />recommended that the Bond for Excavation in Streets as submitted <br />by John E. Kieringer, d/b/a Utility Piping Services, be approved <br />effective July 15, 1991. <br />Additionally, it is recommended that the Bond of Contractor for <br />Michael A. Lupresto be approved effective July 22, 1991. Mrs. <br />DeClercq made a motion that the recommendations be accepted and <br />the bonds be approved. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />FILING OF HUMANE SOCIETY MONTHLY REPORT - JUNE - TABLED <br />Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq, Director, Department of Code <br />Enforcement, recommended that the Board hold on the Filing of the <br />June monthly report as submitted by the Humane Society of St. <br />Joseph County, IN, Inc., as there is some question as to the <br />number of wildlife indicated on the report. Mrs. DeClercq stated <br />that more information is needed as it appears that this number is <br />quite high and is higher than in the past. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of <br />Certificates of Insurance for the following: <br />1. The Robert Henry Corporation <br />P.O. Box 1407 <br />South Bend, Indiana 46624 <br />2. Greeley and Hansen <br />222 South Riverside Plaza <br />Chicago, Illinois 606065965 <br />Therefore, Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the Certificates as <br />submitted be accepted and filed. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of two (2) <br />lists from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating that <br />seventy-four (74) miscellaneous properties and thirty-six (36) <br />City-owned/Miscellaneous properties were cleaned from July 8, <br />1991 to July 11, 1991. Mrs. DeClercq therefore made a motion <br />that the lists as .submitted be filed. Mr. Leszczynski seconded <br />the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of Northern Indiana, <br />submitted two (2) lists containing one hundred twenty-nine (129) <br />claims and recommended approval. <br />Additionally, Chief Deputy Controller John D. Leisenring, <br />submitted Claim Docket Nos. 8582-8618 and 8625-8899 and <br />recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, <br />seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the claims were approved <br />and the reports as submitted were filed. <br />F I <br />1 <br />11 <br />
