197 <br />REGULAR MEETING TUNE 24, 1991 <br />The amount named in this bid is made with the understanding <br />that same shall be accepted by the City within thirty (30) <br />days from date of same. Should the City's acceptance be <br />delayed beyond said period, an extension may be granted upon <br />request, if possible. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the above bid was referred to the Fire Department <br />for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF PROPOSALS/STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS - MAINTENANCE <br />MANAGEMENT NEEDS ASSESSMENT - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed <br />Proposals/Statements of Qualification, for the above referred to <br />maintenance management needs assessment. The Clerk tendered <br />proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the <br />Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. Proposals/ <br />Statements of Qualification were received from the following: <br />1. Triad Engineering Incorporated <br />325 East Chicago Street <br />Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202 <br />2. Jones & Henry Engineers, Inc. <br />2420 Coliseum Boulevard, Suite 214 <br />Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805 <br />1. Greeley and Hansen. <br />3750 Guion Road, Suite 200 <br />Indianapolis, Indiana 46222-1669 <br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the above referred to <br />Proposals/Statements of Qualification be referred to the Division <br />of Environmental Services for review. Ms. Humphreys seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CONTRACT - 1ST SOURCE BANK (SOUTH BEND HOME IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM) <br />Ms. Marcia Townsend, Department of Economic Development, advised <br />that submitted to the Board was a Contract between the City and <br />1st Source Bank whereas the bank acts as a consortium member for <br />the South Bend Home Improvement Loan Program. Ms. Townsend noted <br />that this is the third Contract submitted to the Board with a <br />consortium bank to date. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the <br />Contract be approved and executed. Ms. Humphreys seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />DOPT RESOLUTION NO. 25-1991 - APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE <br />TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY AND LAND LEASE ASSIGNMENT FROM THE <br />BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS <br />Board Attorney Jenny Pitts Manier advised that Resolution No. <br />25-1991 submitted to the Board today for consideration relates to <br />the property known as the Northside Boulevard Armory. Mrs.. <br />Manier noted that the Common Council previously approved the <br />transfer of this property from the Park Department to the City of <br />South Bend Board of Public Works which they have done. She <br />further noted that the adoption of this Resolution is one step in <br />what will eventually be the relocation of the armory to the <br />former Maple Lane School and the transfer of the Northside <br />property to IUSB for expansion. <br />Therefore, Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the Resolution as <br />submitted be adopted. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which <br />carried and the following Resolution No. 25-1991 was adopted: <br />
