<br />- OF ST. STEPHAN'S PARISH TO CLOSE MC PHERSON STREET, FROM
<br />THOMAS TO NAPIER AND TO CONDUCT 5K RUN IN CONJUNCTION WITH
<br />PARISH FESTIVAL - AUGUST 11, 1991
<br />Rev. David J. Porterfield, Associate Pastor, St. Stephen's
<br />Parish, 1102 West Thomas Street, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />requested that McPherson Street, from Thomas to Napier
<br />Streets, be closed from 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 1991
<br />through Sunday, August 11, 1991 in conjunction with the St.
<br />Stephen's Parish Summer Festival to be held on Sunday, August
<br />11, 1991.
<br />Additionally, Rev, Porterfield requested permission to
<br />conduct a 5K Run in conjunction with the Parish Festival.
<br />The Run is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. in front of the
<br />Church located at 1102 West Thomas Street on August 11,
<br />1991. Rev. Porterfield submitted with this request a route
<br />that will be utilized by the runners.
<br />- OF OFFICE OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS TO CLOSE VARIOUS STREETS IN
<br />CONJUNCTION WITH ETHNIC FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES - JUNE 25-301

<br />requested that parking be banned and streets be closed in
<br />conjunction with the Ethnic Festival as follows:

<br />- TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED LOT AT 726 PENNSYLVANIA
<br />Mr. Greg Mitchem, 732 East Pennsylvania, South Bend, Indiana,
<br />advised the Board that he is interested in purchasing the
<br />City -owned property located at 726 Pennsylvania.
<br />- TO CLOSE WAYNE STREET, FROM ESTHER TO GREENLAWN. FOR BLOCK
<br />PARTY - JULY 4, 1991
<br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Betsy Creary, 1720 East Wayne
<br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, on behalf of the Wayne Street
<br />,neighbors, requested that Wayne Street, between Esther and
<br />Greenlawn Avenue, be closed on Thursday, July 4, 1991 from
<br />1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for their annual neighborhood block
<br />party and parade.
<br />- TO CLOSE AMHURST, FROM CHIPPEWA TO MIAMI, FOR BLOCK PARTY -
<br />JULY 4, 1991
<br />Mr. Larry Fribley, Jr., 914 Amhurst Avenue, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, submitted to the Board an Application for Use of and
<br />Blocking of Access to Public Right -of -Way for a Party or
<br />Similar Event, requesting that Amhurst, from Chippewa to
<br />Miami, be closed from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Thursday,
<br />July 4, 1991, for a block party.
