133 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 29, 1991 <br />ONE (1) 1978 OLDSMOBILE (TWO -DOOR) - VIN. #3N37F8MI63306 <br />MECHANICAL NO. 739 - MILEAGE IN EXCESS OF 114,850 <br />shall be removed from the inventory of the City of South Bend. <br />ADOPTED this 29th day of April, 1991. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />s/John E. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO 16-1991 - TRANSFER OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT <br />1307-11 WEST WASHINGTON AND 106-110 NORTH WALNUT TO THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that pursuant to the request received on <br />March 25, 1991 from the Redevelopment Commission desiring that <br />the above named properties be transferred to the Commission as <br />both properties are within the West Washington -Chapin Development <br />Area and are needed to complete the assemblage of land for new <br />development along the 1200 and 1300 blocks of West Washington as <br />is recommended by the Comprehensive Plan for the area, the <br />appropriate City departments and bureaus have reviewed this <br />request and approval is recommended. Board Attorney Jenny Pitts <br />Manier noted that the Redevelopment Commission is extending the <br />West Wahsington-Chapin Development area and is interested in <br />acquiring these properties which are located within the expansion <br />area. <br />Therefore, Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the appropriate <br />Resolution which has been prepared and submitted to the Board be <br />adopted. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried and the <br />following Resolution No. 16-1991 was adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16-1991 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS APPROVING <br />THE TRANSFER OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY TO THE <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-9-6-3, the Board of Public Works <br />of the City of South Bend (hereinafter, the "Board") has custody <br />and control of all real property owned by the City of South Bend; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, included among the real property of the City of <br />South Bend, are the following described parcels, situated in St. <br />Joseph County, Indiana: <br />Part of Lot "A" and Lot One Hundred Seven (107) on the <br />recorded Plat of Commissioners Subdivision of Bark Out Lot <br />Seventy-nine (79) of the second plat of out lots of the town, <br />now City of South Bend, platted by the State Bank of Indiana <br />which part is bounded by a line as follows, viz: Beginning on <br />the East line of North Walnut Street at a point seventy-eight <br />(78) feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot "A", <br />thence East Sixty-six (66) feet to the East line of said Lot <br />One Hundred Seven (107), thence North on said line Fifty-two <br />(52) feet, thence West Sixty-six (66) feet to the West line of <br />said Lot "A", thence South on said line Fifty-two (52) feet to <br />the place of beginning, together with the right to use in <br />common with adjoining owners to a private right of way eight <br />(8) feet in width located next South of and adjoining the <br />
