REGULAR MEETING APRIL 29, 1991 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and bureaus have reviewed the above referred to requests which were submitted to the Board on April 15, 1991 and April 22, 1991 and approval is recommended. Therefore, Ms. Humphreys made a motion that the recommendations be accepted and the requests be approved. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE AND/OR RELEASE CONTRACTORS AND EXCAVATION BONDS Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of recommendations from the Engineering Department that the following Contractors and Excavation Bonds be approved: CONTRACTORS BONDS 1. Bob Williams d/b/a Williams Contracting Approve Eff. 4-29-91 2. .7ohn Wright & Sons, Inc. P.O. Box 82 Granger, Indiana Approve Eff. 4-29-91 EXCAVATION BOND 1. Bob Williams, d/b/a Williams Contracting Approve Eff. 4-29-91 2. Earthworks 13790 Creston St., Mishawaka Approve Eff. 4-29-91 3. Two Guys Plumbing, Inc. 1839 Prairie Avenue, So. Bend Approve Eff. 4-29-91 Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the recommendations be accepted and the bonds be approved. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE REMOVAL Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following one (1) Rubbish and Garbage Removal license application has been received: 1. Ronald Calvert 53070 North Arnold South Bend, Indiana It is noted that an inspection of the truck to be used was conducted by the Solid Waste Bureau and the applicant was found to be in compliance. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the above referred to license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of the appropriate license. FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of two (2) lists from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating that fifty-one (51) properties were cleaned from April 15, 1991 to April 19, 1991 and that seven (7) City Owned/Miscellaneous properties were cleaned from April 16, 1991 to April 18, 1991. Mrs. DeClercq therefore made a motion that the lists as submitted be filed. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE CLAIMS Mr. Juan Manigault, Executive Director, Employment and Training Services of St. Joseph County, submitted a list containing one hundred seventeen (117) claims and recommended approval.
