1 6 =_ REGULAR MEETING APRIL 29, 1991 A parcel of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, City of South Bend, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, being platted as Denniston & Fellows Addition as recorded in Book 2, Page 48, at the St. Joseph County Recorder's office in South Bend, Indiana, and described as follows: Beginning at an iron at the intersection of the East right-of-way line of Carroll Street and the South right-of-way line of South Street; thence South 89039147" East (bearing assumed), 100.00 feet along said South right-of-way line to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing South 89039147" East, 41.50 feet along said South right-of-way line; thence South 00000100" East, 115.50 feet to the North right-of-way line of a 14.00 foot alley; thence North 89039147" West, 41.50 feet along said North right-of-way -line; thence North 00*00100" West, 115.50 feet to the South right-of-way line of South Street and the Point of Beginning, and containing 0.1100 acres, more or less, and is subject to all easements, restrictions and or covenants of record, commonly known as 310 East South Street, South Bend, (the "Real Property"), under terms and conditions substantially similar to those embodied in the Lease, shall be, and hereby is, approved, subject to the approval of the South Bend Redevelopment Authority. 2. That the execution of the sublease by the Board on April 15, 1991, a true and complete copy of which sublease is attached hereto, and containing terms and conditions which are substantially similar to those embodied in the Lease, with the exception that the rent to be paid by the City to the Commission shall be nominal in amount, shall be this Resolution shall be, and hereby is, ratified. �. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption. ADOPTED at a meeting of the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend held on April 29, 1991, at 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601. Parmerlee Clerk, Board of Public Works APPROVE ADDENDUM I - DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - AREA PLANNING COMMITTEE CONTRACT Mr. Leszczynski advised that submitted to the Board was Addendum I - Department of Economic Development - West Washington -Chapin Development Program - Area Planning Commission Contract which extends the Contract term to December 31, 1991 and adds two thousand two hundred dollars ($2,200.00) to the Contract amount. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the Addendum be approved and executed. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. r 1
