122 REGULAR MEETING APRIL 15, 1991 REQUEST OF C.E. STAFFORD CONSTRUCTION, INC. TO UTILIZE PORTION OF CITY PARKING LOT IN CONJUNCTION WITH REPAIR WORK OF BUILDING AT 125 LAFAYETTE BOULEVARD - REFERRED Mr. Charles E. Stafford, President, C.E. Stafford Construction, Inc., 111 South Cherry Street, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to use a five foot (51) by fifty foot (501) working area strip in the City parking lot which is along the north exterior wall of the Law Building located at 125 Lafayette Boulevard. Mr. Stafford advised that he will need to utilize space along the building until his job is completed which would be sixty (60) working days beginning April 16, 1991. Mr. Stafford noted that he will be working from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the week and weekends and that City vehicles parked along the north side of the building will need to be relocated during construction. Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that this request be referred to the appropriate City departments and bureaus for review and recommendation. Mrs. DeClercq seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE REQUEST OF MICHIANA WATERSHED TO CONDUCT ANNUAL RIVER l - MAY 11, 1991 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and bureaus have reviewed the above referred to request which was submitted to the Board on November 13, 1990 to conduct the 1991 St. Joseph River Run on Saturday, May 11, 1991 and approval is recommended. Mr. Leszczynski made a :notion that the recommendations be accepted and the request be approved. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION - RUBBISH AND GARBAGE Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following one (1) Rubbish and Garbage license application has been received: 1. CITY OF SOUTH BEND BUREAU OF SOLID WASTE 3113 Riverside Drive South Bend, Indiana It was noted that inspections of the trucks to be used had been conducted and were found to be in compliance. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of a license. APPROVE TITLE SHEETS - I/N KOTE SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT: - PHASE I - LIFT STATIONS - PHASE II - SANITARY SEWER PIPING - PHASE III - SANITARY SEWER PIPING - PHASE IV - SANITARY SEWER PIPING Mr. Leszczynski advised that Title Sheets for the above referred to project were being presented at this time for execution. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the above referred to Title Sheets were approved and signed. APPROVE CONTRACTORS BOND Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Engineering Department has recommended that the Board approve the Contactor's Bond for Shamrock Development, Inc., 404 South Columbia Street, Suite 150, P.O. Box 1152, South Bend, Indiana, effective April 15, 1991. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bond be approved. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried.
