REGULAR MEETING APRIL 1, 1991 1 1 KASER-8PRAKER CONSTRUCTION, INC. 25487 West State Road 2 P_.O. Box 3605 South Bend, Indiana 46619 Bid was signed by Mr. Gary L. Spraker, President, Non - Collusion Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination Commitment Form was completed and a five per cent (5a) Bid Bond was submitted. BID: Bid Package #2: $ 58,000.00 PROCARE SERVICES 2001 Clover Road Mishawaka, Indiana 46545 Bid was signed by Mr. Steven J. Solliday, President, Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order, Nor. -Discrimination Commitment Form was completed and a Treasurer's Check in the amount of $2,500.00 was submitted. Bid Package #3: $ 41,904.00 Bid Package #3 - Alternate #1: $ 2,704.00 Bid Packages #3 and #3A: $ 44,608.00 Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above bids were referred to the Division. of Environmental Services for review and recommendation. HEARING AND FAVORABLE TION - ALLEY VACATION: 1ST N/S ALLEY E. OF FRANCES STREET Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the Board's Public Hearing on a proposed alley vacation described as follows: The first north/south alley east of Frances Street running south from Cedar Street for a distance of approximately 102.65 feet to the south right-of-way line of the first east/west alley south of Cedar Street, all in Hull's Subdivision. It was noted that this Public Hearing is being held in order for the Board to submit a recommendation to the Common Council concerning the Vacation Petition filed by Mr. Christopher J. Matteo, Taripp Development Corporation, 807 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana. It was further noted that pursuant to South Bend Municipal Code Section 18-53.8, owners whose property abut the proposed alley to be vacated as well as those property owners within one hundred fifty feet (1501) of the alley to be vacated were notified of the Board's Public Hearing date. Mr. Christopher J. Matteo, Taripp Development Corporation, 807 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana, Petitioner, was present and addressed the Board. Mr. Matteo indicated that the purpose of the vacation is to allow construction of Phase II of the Lafayette Square Townhomes, a condominium project. There being no one else present wishing to speak either for or against the proposed alley vacation, and no written objections having been filed with the Board, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the Public Hearing on this matter was closed.
