E REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 25, 1991 Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq, Director, Department of Code Enforcement, advised that Warner and Sons has supplied to her office the required Occupancy and Demolition Bonds in conjunction with this project. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the request to occupy the public right-of-way in conjunction with the demolition of the Transwestern Building Project was approved. APPROVE SECONDHAND DEALERS LICENSE APPLICATIONS Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following four (4) secondhand dealers license applications have been received: NAME: BY: ADDRESS: FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: NAME: BY: ADDRESS: FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: NAME: BY: ADDRESS: FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: NAME: BY: ADDRESS: FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: WESTERN ELECTRONICS Mr. Vendel Vegh 1530 Western Avenue Used & new merchandise RED'S PAWN SHOP Mr. Stephen A. Krupnik 1072 Lincolnway East Unredeemed Pledges CLOTHES AND THINGS Ms. Cheryl McIntosh 1029 East Madison Clothes, furniture and miscellaneous CLASSIC BOUTIQUE Ms. Ethel Anderson 1636 L.W.W. Used furniture & miscellaneous Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire Department on the above applications. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of licenses. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the following one (1) traffic control device was approved: 1. NEW INSTALLATION: LOCATION: REMARKS: No Parking 815 South Lafayette Requested by Police Traffic Safety Department - FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Board is in receipt of two (2) lists from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating that sixty-nine (69) properties were cleaned from February 4, 1991 and February 16, 1991 and that twenty-seven (27) City Owned/ Miscellaneous properties were cleaned from February 5, 1991 to February 13, 1991. Mrs. DeClercq made a motion that the lists as submitted be filed. Ms. Humphreys seconded the motion which carried. fj
