REGULAR MEETING MJ 1 1 1 JANUARY 28, 1991 OPENING OF BIDS - UP TO TWENTY-FIVE (25) NEW VEHICLES FOR THE 1991 POLICE VEHICLE FLEET This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to vehicles. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bid was opened and publicly read: GATES CHEVROLET CORPORATION 401 South Lafayette Boulevard South Bend, Indiana 46601 Bid was signed by Mr. Charles Non -Collusion Affidavit was in (10%) Bid Bond was submitted. BID: J. Lindzy, Fleet Manager, order and a ten per cent Twenty-five (25) 1991 Chevrolet Caprice 4 door sedans Model iBL19: Net Price Each: $ 12,849.57 Net Price Twenty-five Units: $321,239.25 Exceptions to bid specifications: 1. Spotlight L.H. - is six (6) inch halogen and is factory installed. Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above bid was referred to the Division of Equipment Services for review and recommendation. OPENING OF BIDS - CENTURY CENTER - DIMMER BANK AND LIGHTING CONSOLE Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to project. The following bids were opened and publicly read: STUDIO ONE INCORPORATED 511 East Colfax South Bend, Indiana 46617-2715 Bid was signed by Mr. Richard C. Bakos, President, Non - Collusion Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination Commitment form was completed and a Cashier's Check in the amount of $2,250.00 was submitted. BID: $30,174.00 VINCENT LIGHTING SYSTEMS COMPANY 20810 Miles Parkway Cleveland, Ohio 44128 Bid was signed by Joni Roecker, Treasurer, Non - Collusion Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination Commitment form was completed and a Certified Check in the amount of $2,200.00 was submitted. BID: $43,987.00 Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the above bids were referred to the Century Center Board of Managers for review and award. OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - ASBESTOS ABATEMENT - OSCO DRUG STORE Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for receiving and opening of Quotations for the above referred to project.
