REGULAR MEETING <br />MJ <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />JANUARY 28, 1991 <br />OPENING OF BIDS - UP TO TWENTY-FIVE (25) NEW VEHICLES FOR THE <br />1991 POLICE VEHICLE FLEET <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids <br />for the above referred to vehicles. The Clerk tendered proofs of <br />publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the <br />Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following <br />bid was opened and publicly read: <br />GATES CHEVROLET CORPORATION <br />401 South Lafayette Boulevard <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Bid was signed by Mr. Charles <br />Non -Collusion Affidavit was in <br />(10%) Bid Bond was submitted. <br />BID: <br />J. Lindzy, Fleet Manager, <br />order and a ten per cent <br />Twenty-five (25) 1991 Chevrolet Caprice 4 door sedans <br />Model iBL19: <br />Net Price Each: $ 12,849.57 <br />Net Price Twenty-five Units: $321,239.25 <br />Exceptions to bid specifications: <br />1. Spotlight L.H. - is six (6) inch halogen and is <br />factory installed. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Humphreys, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the above bid was referred to the Division of <br />Equipment Services for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - CENTURY CENTER - DIMMER BANK AND LIGHTING <br />CONSOLE <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the <br />receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to <br />project. The following bids were opened and publicly read: <br />STUDIO ONE INCORPORATED <br />511 East Colfax <br />South Bend, Indiana 46617-2715 <br />Bid was signed by Mr. Richard C. Bakos, President, Non - <br />Collusion Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination <br />Commitment form was completed and a Cashier's Check in <br />the amount of $2,250.00 was submitted. <br />BID: $30,174.00 <br />VINCENT LIGHTING SYSTEMS COMPANY <br />20810 Miles Parkway <br />Cleveland, Ohio 44128 <br />Bid was signed by Joni Roecker, Treasurer, Non - <br />Collusion Affidavit was in order, Non -Discrimination <br />Commitment form was completed and a Certified Check in <br />the amount of $2,200.00 was submitted. <br />BID: $43,987.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the above bids were referred to the Century Center <br />Board of Managers for review and award. <br />OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - ASBESTOS ABATEMENT - OSCO DRUG STORE <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for receiving <br />and opening of Quotations for the above referred to project.
