MPA Select is a 16 channel radio. <br />MPA Scan is a 192 dual priority scan radio. <br />2. In the specifications under minimum VHF transmitter <br />performance specifications the FM Hum is -45% and the <br />Harmonic Emission is -75dB for the MPA Portable. <br />3. The MPA Personal Portable Radio is manufactured in <br />Lynchburg, Virginia, USA. However, the accessories <br />are manufactured out of the country. <br />4. Eriscsson does not foresee any changes in the next <br />two (2) years. However, due to current industry and <br />economic conditions and technological changes, Ericsson <br />GE Mobile Communications, Inc., and Hallman Electronics, <br />Inc., can only guarantee the price through December 31, <br />1993. <br />5. All indications point to the availability of the MPA <br />Portable through December, 1994, however Ericsson GE <br />Mobile Communications, Inc., and Hallman Electronics, <br />Inc. cannot absolutely guarantee availability and must <br />take exception to the radio replacement requirements <br />stated in the bid specifications. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, the above bids were referred to the Fire Department <br />and Radio Communications for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - FORD STREET SEWER LINERS 1992 <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids <br />for the above referred to project. The Clerk tendered proofs of <br />publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the <br />Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient.
