l X <br />REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 30, 1992 <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND APPROVAL OF LEASE - OFFICE SPACE AT 205 WEST <br />JEFFERSON BOULEVARD - SUITE 100 <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the <br />Board's Public Hearing regarding the lease of office space at 205 <br />West Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 100, for the St. Joseph <br />County/South Bend Building Department. <br />Mr. Don Fozo, Building Commissioner, St. Joseph County/South Bend <br />Building Department, was present and, addressed the Board. Mr. <br />Fozo stated that it is being proposed that the combined.Building <br />Department move its offices to Suite 100 in the old First Bank <br />Building, 205 West Jefferson Boulevard. Mr. Fozo stated that, <br />they looked at several possible locations but because the <br />location of this space is so close to the County -City Building <br />they decided that this was the best location. Mr. Fozo noted <br />that the City will be entering into a two (2) year lease for this <br />space in case the City decides to do something with other <br />facilities for other City offices. In that way, they could be a <br />part of that plan. Additionally, this location will require the <br />least amount of renovation which can be completed in one (1) <br />month. <br />There being no one else present wishing to address the Board <br />concerning this matter, the Public Hearing was closed. <br />Board Attorney and Member Mary H. Mueller made a motion that the <br />Board confirm Resolution No. 44-1992 adopted by the Board on <br />November 16, 1992 establishing the Board's intent to Lease this <br />space, execute the Lease which has been submitted and publish a <br />Notice of Execution on December 4, 1992 thereby making the lease <br />effective December 4, 1992. Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion <br />which carried. <br />In response to an inquiry by Mr. Caldwell, Mr. Fozo stated that <br />it is anticipated that the move could occur in about four (4) <br />weeks. <br />OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - INTERIOR RENOVATIONS - SUITE 100 <br />205 WEST JEFFERSON BOULEVARD <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the <br />receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for the interior <br />remodeling of Suite 100, 205 West Jefferson Boulevard, South <br />Bend, Indiana, for use by the Building Department. The following <br />Quotations were opened and read: <br />F.T. FORSEY, INC. <br />P.O. Box 6188 <br />2018 Ironwood Circle <br />South Bend, IN 46660 <br />Quotation was signed by Mr. Pat Horvath, Estimator/ <br />Project Manager. <br />QUOTATION: $26,450.00 <br />WOODCOX BUILDING CONTRACTOR, INC. <br />51175 Prescott Avenue <br />South Bend, Indiana 46637 <br />Quotation was signed by Mr. Kenneth J. Little, President. <br />QUOTATION: $24,413.00 <br />IDEAL INTERIOR OF MICHIANA, INC. <br />57087 Pineview Drive <br />South Bend, Indiana 46619 <br />Quotation was signed by Mr. Joe Jacobe. <br />QUOTATION: $25,612.00 <br />
