�I REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 8, 1992 - OF SIGNCRAFTERS TO INSTALL SIGN AT 812 E. LA SALLE Mr. Walt Faltynski, President, B&S Signcrafters, 60858 C.R. 17, Goshen, Indiana, advised that they have been contracted by Termiguard, at 812 East LaSalle Street, South Bend, Indiana, to make their existing three foot (3') by seven foot (7') sign into a double face sign and project it out from the building so individuals can see the sign from both directions. Mr. Faltynski noted that'the sign will project over the public right-of-way and will be at least tern feet (10') from the bottom to grade. Submitted with the request was a diagram and dimensions of the proposed sign. APPROVE REQUESTS: - OF Y.W.C.A. OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY TO CONDUCT ANNUAL "RUN JANE, RUN" SPORTS EVENT - SEPTEMBER 13, 1992 TO CLOSE BLAINE, FROM L.W.W. TO LA PORTE, FOR BACK -TO -SCHOOL BLOCK PARTY - SEPTEMBER 19, 1992 - TO CLOSE LA PORTE, FROM WASHINGTON TO COLFAX, IN CONJUNCTION WITH HISTORIC DISTRICT YARD SALE - SEPTEMBER. 19, 1992 TO CLOSE WASHINGTON, FROM MAPLE TO WALNUT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH GROUND -BREAKING CEREMONY FOR WEST WASHINGTON HOMES - SEPTEMBER 18, 1992 OF GIBSON-LEWIS TO CLOSE SIDEWALK AND INSTALL TEMPORARY SIDEWALK AT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL - UNTIL NOVEMBER 1992 Mr. Leszczynski advised that the appropriate City departments and bureaus have reviewed the above referred to requests, which were submitted to the Board on August 17, 1992 and August 24, 1992, and approval is recommended. Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the recommendations be accepted and the requests be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. APPROVE TITLE SHEETS: - FUELING FACILITY - SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL SERVICES FACILITY - FUELING FACILITY - SOUTH BEND ORGANIC RESOURCES FACILITY Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Caldwell and carried, the above referred to Title Sheets were approved and signed. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and carried, the following three (3) traffic control devices were approved: 1. REVISED TO: Two -Way LOCATION: Extend the two way traffic on Goodland to Green Street to allow access to the bank on Bendix and Green. REMARKS: Goodland will be one-way south from Lincolnway West to Green. From Green to Bendix traffic will be two-way. 2. REMOVAL OF: No Parking LOCATION: On Bulla - Anderson to Medora (north side REMARKS: Businesses have closed and parking ban is not needed. 3. NEW INSTALLATION: Two (2) Hour Parking Limit 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
