REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 1992 <br />(10) are approved for legality and form. A bid from a joint <br />venture between Majority Builders and Schrock Golf & Land <br />Development, Inc., should be rejected for failure to submit <br />an acceptable Bid Bond with the bid. <br />The actual problem with the Bid Bond is that the Bid Bond <br />submitted only bonded Majority Builders and not the Joint <br />Venture. Therefore, Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the bid <br />of Majority Builders/Schrock Golf & Land Development, be <br />rejected. Mr. 'Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />BLACKTHORN GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE FACILITY PROJECT <br />Three (3) bids were received for this project, two (2) of <br />which are approved for legality and form. A bid from Casteel <br />Construction Corporation should be rejected for failure to <br />submit a bid price. Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the bid <br />submitted by Casteel Construction Corporation be rejected. <br />Mr. Caldwell seconded the motion which carried. <br />BLACKTHORN GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE, OUTING SHELTER AND PUMP <br />Four (4) bids were submitted for this project, all of which <br />are approved for legality and form. <br />Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the written report <br />as submitted by Mrs. Mueller and outlined above be accepted for <br />filing. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE <br />ULANCE S <br />MEDICAL <br />- UNIVERSITY OF <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Fire Chief Luther Taylor has <br />submitted to the Board a Contract for Emergency Medical Services <br />- University of Notre Dame - Football Season 1992, and advised <br />that the Fire Department recently received a bid award to provide <br />Emergency Medical Services during Notre Dame home football games <br />for the year 1992. This arrangement will generate additional <br />revenue for the City as well as benefit the University of Notre <br />Dame. <br />Additionally submitted was a Sub -Contract for Ambulance Service <br />at Notre Dame Football Games between McGann Ambulance Division, <br />Inc., and the City of South Bend, whereby McGann`s will be <br />supplying one (1) basic life support ambulance during Notre Dame <br />home football games. <br />Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the Contract and <br />Sub -Contract be approved and executed. Mrs. Mueller seconded the <br />motion which carried. <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following Community Development <br />Contract has been submitted to the Board for approval: <br />DEPARTMENT OF NEIGHBORHOOD CODE ENFORCEMENT <br />RECEIVERSHIP/REHAB REVOLVING LOAN ACTIVITY <br />The targeted goal for this activity is to rehabilitate and <br />manage occupied rental property(ies) as qualified by the <br />Department of Neighborhood Code Enforcement in accordance <br />with the program guidelines attached to the Contract. The <br />total cost of this activity shall not exceed $55,000.00. <br />Mr. Leszczynski made a motion that the Contract be approved and <br />executed. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which carried. <br />
