Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the <br />applications be approved. Mrs. Mueller seconded the motion which <br />carried. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mrs. Mueller and <br />carried, the following two (2) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. NEW INSTALLATION: Handicap <br />LOCATION: 818 East Indiana <br />REMARKS: Mrs. Lucille Jones <br />2. NEW INSTALLATION: No Parking 6 A - 6 P <br />LOCATION: On the south side of Bronson - <br />Lafayette to 1/2 block east. <br />REMARKS: Request made by School City. They <br />need the parking restrictions <br />because of the loading dock on the <br />north side of Bronson. Requested <br />by Mr. Dale McCauley. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, Certificates of Insurance for the following were <br />accepted for filing: <br />1. Universal Painting Company, Inc. <br />Classic Interiors <br />1319 South Lafayette, Box 4141 <br />South Bend, Indiana 46634 <br />2. Youth Service Bureau of St. Joseph County, Inc. <br />2222 Lincolnway West <br />South Bend, Indiana 46628 <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORTS <br />Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Board is in receipt of two (2) <br />lists as submitted by the Department of Code Enforcement <br />indicating that eighty-five (85) miscellaneous properties were <br />cleaned by the Department from August 3, 1992 to August 6, 1992. <br />Mrs. Mueller made a motion that the lists be accepted for <br />filing. Mr. Leszczynski seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that City Controller Kevin Horton <br />submitted to the Board claims in the amounts of $755,978.65 and <br />$2,186,684.75 and recommended approval. <br />Additionally, Mr. Juan A. Manigault, Executive Director, WDS of <br />Northern Indiana, submitted two (2) lists containing two hundred <br />
